Out of Order - The Annual Undergraduate Student Exhibition
April 26 - May 16, 2001

The Annual Undergraduate Student Exhibition has been a tradition at Concordia University for more than twenty years. It affords Fine Arts students the opportunity to present their work in a professional public gallery and also introduces the work of Concordia's emerging contemporary artists to the general public. The exhibition included artworks in a variety of media, including photography, sculpture, drawings, video, and installations. The works assembled demonstrated a broad spectrum of aesthetic and technical concerns, and served to reveal current interests in contemporary art. The exhibition was organized by the VAV Gallery and juried by a committee of student artists. This year's exhibition was curated by the VAV Gallery co-directors, Vanessa Marie Robinson and Lisa Vinebaum, who were also responsible for the design and printing of the invitations and the preparation of biographical materials that accompanied the show. The exhibition was presented with the assistance of the Concordia Council on Student Life and the Dean's Office, Faculty of Fine Arts.

Vernissage: Thursday, April 26 at 6:00 P.M.
